Over all Beforever is better tan I expected but, I am super sad that Ag made the things( outfits and accessories ) look less historicaly acurate !

Its official ~Ivy ,Ruthie , Marie-grace and Cécile retirement~

Say goodbye to these 4 Historical characters because recently ag has announced thier retirment on Facebook.


Cecile and Marie- Grace as well as Ivy and Ruthie .



If you want them I suggest you buy them as soon as possible while supplies last.

When this dolls retire there will be NO best friend collection.The only historicals left Kit,Julie , Josefina,Kaya,Addy,Rebbeca and even Samantha won't have friends,there willl be only one doll and her collection.

Those are the changes that will happen along with meet outfit and book changes for the new "Beforever" line which will start in fall.

I want to say I am actually sad that all four of these dolls will retire even though I have never planned on buying any of them . I really liked the idea of having two dolls from the same time era , with different looks and personalities. It also gave the dolls a nice touch since the  could play with their dolls and re-créate stories from the book or make both dolls do some activities together . I think I will really miss that part about Ag.

Of course it incourages the girls to  invent stories with their dolls and have more girl -doll play .

Anyways I hope Beforever will be bringing new accessories and nice aditions to AG.

Beforever Update !

I have some updates on the Beforever ( New Brand name for the Historical dolls ).

Some pictures have been leaked on EBay of Julies pijamas





On the side you can see the box with the words Beforever writen on it . Since julie's pijama's are historical intems it gives us a huge prof that this will be the new oficial name for the Historical dolls.


Along with Beforever meet outfit changes have been predicted for most HC dolls exept for Josefina.
Here is what is thought to be Julies new meet outfit :

I actually like it though I think it is kind of too flashy for my taste :)
There will also be a new party dress for Caroline.

This  dress is extremely similar to the  New Orleans doll gala outfits ( which is not very original ) :(
Which are thought of as being archieved around Samantha's re-realese on August 28.

There is also rumors about a new puppy.





For now these are just rumors but the last time with the pictures of a new Samantha the EBay seller ( which is the same one selling the dog  ) was selling and son after the announcement of her re- release was made which could happen with these ítems .

AG Rumors + Samanthas return and posible new historical doll

Hi!
Have you heard the rumors that Cécile and Marie-Grace's might be  retiring? Alot of people have been saying they do not appear in the Spring AG catalog ,which might involve them being retired soon ! Nothing is confirmed yet but ...these clues might be the evidence they will be retiring !

I hope that doesn't happen because the idea of having two main Historical dolls is just really cool ! American Girl already retired Molly last year so if they retire these dolls that would be 3 dolls in a short period of time ! While these dolls might retire an American girl doll Classic doll will come back this Fall!
It is Samantha Parkington!

  This is really exiting for all of the Samantha lovers or the ones who missed out on her !Though there is no info if her outfits and accessories will come back with her re-release!But there is no information on Nellie's return .

An Ebay  seller posted some pictures of the new Samantha but there was no defined "meet" outfit!
These pictures are NOT mine they are from the Ebay seller! 

 

This picture shows how Samantha will have feathered eyebrows rather than the lined eyebrows she had originaly .

So now untill further notice  Samantha will be back in Fall 2014.







There are also other rumors about a new historical ! Many pictures have been found on the web of this doll :

 She  looks like a girl from 1960! She looks really cute and her outfit looks very unique! It is not completely 100% sure that she is an actual doll coming out and if she is coming out  at the same time as Samantha in Fall .
